Hi, I am playing around with a Pi Zero and the Phat Dac. I had to solder I/O pins on both the Pi Zero and Phat Dac. I'm a pretty experienced at soldering and I believe there are no shorts.
I can power up the Pi Zero and and access its web page but when I try to change the audio all I am given is Analog/HDMI/USB. It would appear that the Phat Dac is not recognized? I plugged in a spare HifiBerry Digi+ and its green LED lights up, but I still only get Analog/HDMI/USB. I know I could have either a hardware of software issue here but the fact that the Digi+ LED comes on might indicate my hardware is okay? The Phat Dac doesn't seem to have any LED? Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot and eliminate variables (hardware, software)?
