I am running into problems playing FLAC files through my Pi Zero with piCorePlayer 2.00. MP3s and streamed radio work perfectly.
I have tried a) a cheapy (ebay) USB PCM2604 b) Pi Hat DAC and in each case I am getting considerable stutter with significant pauses. Initially with a) I thought the USB port was being overwhelmed with traffic as using wifi dongle on same hub. So tried b) thus bypassing the USB issue. Am I pushing the Zero too hard to cope with FLAC or is something else adrift here? Thanks Paul LMS 7.8 on RPI 2 with 250Gb of SSD music; playing through 2 x classics, boom and clock. Problematic addition is Pi Zero with OTG usb hub supporting wifi dongle and in case a) cheap USB PCM2704 chip.
