I recently bought a display for my RPI and really love it. Works great with with piCorePlayer. One question though: I found out it is possible to adjust the brightness of the display by adjusting the value in /sys/class/backlight/rpi_backlight/brightness. I find a value of 80 a good value. However, I'm unable to keep this value persistent (after a reboot). I even edited the /opt/.filetool.lst file and manually added the above file and then ran a backup. But after a reboot the brightness is 255 again. What am I missing?
