I'm using USB out to a Beresford Caiman II DAC's USB port. It sounds great but is limited to 96khz and I can see from the supported USB DAC list that someone else has reported the same value. My question is that the limit of 96khz was stated by Stan because of Windows USB drivers and not Linux. When using a Squeezebox Touch the sampling goes up to 192khz so why doesn't the PI and picoreplayer manage this? I'm using -u mLX in the 'Up Sample' setting.
This is just a question really as I'm happy with the sound output but am just curious as to why? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ badsoden's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62818 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
