Dear all I am new in the forum. I'm a squeezebox duet user since manu years and i just change my system from win xp to debian One of m'y first action was to install lms in order to have my sound system back. I managed to install lms 7.9 and to control the radio through the web lms interface but the scanning process is not working at all. I have no album nor songs that are identified.... I tried several things but none have worked. The sequeezeboxserver user is in a same group as i am and has the rights to the several folders detailed below. 1rst try (old configuration):the main music folder is on a external ntfs hard disk 2nd try : I dropped a folder with differents music files in a external fat format hard disk 3irf try : I dropped some files in the internal hard disk in the classic folder "my music"
Nothing worked for any try I then erased the library.db and tried again the scan process. I then started all from the beginning (because i first tried the 7.7 and 7.8 version before beeing able to control the radio with the 7.9) I made update of the cpan.... I read the different post on this issue but wasn't able to solve my pb... please someone help!
