udev/systemd is automagically mounting the drive.
You can, equally automagically, defeat that by adding a specific entry
in fstab, preferably using UUID=xxxxx, and containing the options
required for the foreign filesystems in question.
For my part I never use VFAT or NTFS, so no idea as to mount options.
