Can you please stop wasting your time with that Pi hardware! I have been patiently waiting for a ZX Spectrum port of piCorePlayer for longer than I care to remember! Don't you get it? Real audiophiles use *proper* computer hardware, not this new-fangled Pi thingy, with DAC technology that sounds like the name of an American college, fraternity house..... Delta-sigma or something like that! ;) I bought a Raspberry Pi, after someone told me I could use it to rip my vinyl and make a digital archive copy, but it just ruined my favourite Crosby, Stills and Nash LP. (How on earth I was meant to fit a 12" LP into the tiny little slot they told me was for loading the media, I still have no idea!!) Anyway, I took it (the Pi) back to the shop and told them it was not suitable for archiving my precious LP collection. I even took my (now destroyed) CSN LP to show them how badly the Pi had damaged it, trying to make it fit in that silly little slot), but the young man in the shop had never seen a record before and I had to explain that we used to use those to store music before itunes. But that just confused him even more....... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
