Hi Paul, attached are screenshots of the "fdisk -l" command for the same USB thumb drive on the piCorePlayer and Volumio. Toward the bottom of the attached dmesg file you can see the JetFlash Transcend 8GB was detected. Volumio automatically does a mount of the thumb drive at /mnt/USB and when I did a "ls /mnt/USB" you could see the listing of the single MP3 file I have on the drive. I do have the additional file system support enabled. Regarding multiple mount points for net shares, yes, that would be useful, but not essential. I have two different net shares for my iTunes library and a separate HD Flac library.
