I've just had to rebuild my Linux box, and I've installed Jessie + LMS 7.8.1. When I start the LMS service, the log shows it dies and restarts repeatedly.
I've been out of touch with LMS developments for a few years (my very stable install on Ubuntu 14.04 has worked flawlessly). Despite searching for hours, all I've come up with is that LMS 7.8.1 doesn't play nicely with Perl 5.20.2 on Jessie. I'd be very grateful for a bit of advice and hand-holding while I get this fixed (if that's possible!)
