Little point. Doesn't matter whether Pi2 or 3, ethernet is still the same SMC USB ether/hub chip. That "number" is valid "real world" number for Pi2 or 3. The real point, is the throughput of the on-board BCM43430 wifi, is poor, vs any halfway sensible "cheap" USB dongle you could be plugging into it.
