Is that an Onkyo receiver? Based on the bad experiences I've had with multiple Kodi builds, multiple Pi versions and two different Onkyo receivers, I think there's a fundamental incompatibility between the Pi HDMI output and Onkyo's HDMI inputs. It's been a long time since I've tried HDMI with piCorePlayer, but I remember it not being bit-perfect, which meant it wouldn't work DTS or AC-3 (not a big concern for most people, but a showstopper for me).
