I am still experiencing audio stuttering with synchronized players if I
upgrade pCP beyond 2.05.  I did a clean install of 3.01 on a spare RPi 3
and synchronized it with my six other RPi's and got stuttering again.  I
reverted this RPi back to a clean 2.05 install and the stuttering went
away.  I next performed an update of Squeezelite on this spare RPi from
version *v1.8.4-720 *to version *v1.8.4-762 *and the stuttering
returned.  I am beginning to think the problem may be with Squeezelite
versions greater than v1.8.4-720.  

Can anyone test this on there system?  FYI, I have the ALSA params set
to 400::32: on all seven pCP's.  LMS is running on a Synology DS1513+. 
With logging set to "all=debug", when stuttering occurs I get entries
similar to the following:
