It involves patching the kernel source and building your own kernel.
There is no documentation. It isn't really something that should be done
by end-users.

You are getting digital audio output from the Pi HDMI port? In which
case, patches or not, that is not likely to ever support >192k. The
patch set won't help you. You need the hardware to support >192k, to be
able to output DSD128 as 352k8 DoP.
