Hi Ralphy. I had a discussion about customized conversion rules and MAC based routing and LMS rule priorities . I brought up my issue over here:
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?106517-Routing-of-different-conversion-rules-and-formats-to-player-by-MACs&p=869225#post869225 It turned out that the codec order as communicated by squeezelite toward LMS defines the priority for the conversions rules today. Basically "flac,pcm" gets reported and that's why always e.g. the "flac flac" rule gets priority over "flac pcm" on LMS. That's weird. And Not nice. But that's the way it is. mherger is afraid to touch anything in that area on LMS. There's a workaround though. Kimmo wrote a squeezelite patch which basically changes the order of codecs reported to LMS in accordance to "-c" order.
