Thank you! At the moment I don't have a server running, so I'm aiming at
a very minimalistic design: Pi Zero as player(s) only AND Pi Zero as
Player/LMS.
I want to be able to pull the plug on every component, without risking
corruption of the memory card because of writes, but will probably just
leave them on, they only draw 1,5 W.
As post #784 shows, a handfull of files on the LMS server partition are
being updated during service, these might be the exception you mention.
So the question is: how hard would it be to recode LMS for piCoreplayer
to have these write going to RAM in normal operation?
Is it a major rewrite, or some minor adjustments?
I'm willing to test, but I don't have any experience in the Squeezebox
world.
