LMS needs to save cache files, configuration files and coverart files
somewhere. If these files are not saved then you would have to set your
system up from fresh every time you reboot. 
But we offer a possibility to let these files be saved elsewhere like an
attached USB stick or if you have a USB-hard disk with your media files
you can use this location. 
I believe this will prevent corruption of your SD-card.
