First, thanks for the great work guys. I am a piCorePlayer user since years now, and I have replaced all the Squeezebox receivers with RPi + HiFiBerry, manually adding the shairport support by myself. Whereas I use LMS on my Syno NAS, I need shairport in order to be able to stream Amazon music on my Stereo without bluetooth.
I have just upgraded to the 3.10 version Audio optimized, and shairport-sync does not work properly. It regularly breaks after every 15-20 secs, and it starts again. Streaming LMS music from my NAS works like a charm. Streaming from an android phone via DLNA - works fine. AirPlay continuously breaks. I have switched to the "plain vanilla" image - this works better, one interruption every 5-10 mins. Any idea ? I am using a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B, with a HiFiBerry DAC R2.2, EDIMAX WiFi dongle with power saving is disabled. Using piCorePlayer 1.21 with shairport on the same hardware does not break when playing .
