thanks to Clive for this upgraded kernel, allowing DSD128 with I2S output! now compared to the 3.02, there is a slight background noise with DSD only (even DSD64) my wife said it's cool it's like listening to vinyl ;o) it's the same issue with latest MoOde version, so it's probably really from the kernel. any filter to tweak anywhere? I hear from another user on the PS Audio forum that the noise was gone using the hifiberry digi+ board, that reclocks the I2S signal. Would there be more jitter introduced in the clock with the new kernel? Is there a thread somewhere where this is dicussed? cheers, Charles
