It's hard to say, but what one audiophile likes, the next one doesn't. 
Other than the patches, the main change to the kernel is making it a
PREEMT kernel with tight scheduling windows.  It doesn't surprise me
about moode, as it probably has a very similar kernel.   What DAC are
you using?   And is it Modified.  Most of the Audiophiles that had input
into patches and kernel are using modified boards.
