The way it works. LMS server does the check, and downloads a link to the new update package. If there is an update, it will show up in the bottom left corner of the LMS server web page. There is currently not a "helper" that will show the update availability in the piCorePlayer web page........but I suppose there could be. Out of the box, the LMS server for piCorePlayer is set to check for updates on first run and then every 30 days after that.
