Thanks Paul and Paul, I knew it would be something simple in the end... I turned on the logs in pCP and saw a bunch of "UPnP::ControlPoint::_gotError (279) Error retrieving device description: 401 Unauthorized" errors, so while I was able to browse the SMB share without having to provide any credentials from my laptop I guessed pCP is not allowed to connect without some sort of user credentials, so I added a user name and password via the router's share management page, put the same user details into the relevant fields in the LMS Network Disk Mount fields and hey-presto, connected like a charm and I am now happily enjoying all my tunes again. Don't know why I didn't think of doing this last night - can only put it down to late night brain drain :o Anyway, thanks again for all the effort you and the rest of the team are putting into pCP, if it wasn't for you guys the loss of my NAS drive would have been a whole lot more painful than it has actually turned out to be :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Handojim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105997 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
