Reformatted the attached USB drive with EXT2 using a Gparted bootable CD I've had for ages. Plugged back into piCore and reset USB and Samba Settings and Found the drive on Windows. Changed ownership of drive using putty and am now transferring my Music across the network. Probably have to do an LMS re-scan when I've finished but everything should be fine. Thanks to everyone who helped.
