Hi merlinus,

We use ssh via putty to develop piCorePlayer so we can assume it works
OK.

I confirmed that changing the password in [Tweaks] works as expected (I
am using our latest beta though, but it hasn't changed for a long time)

There will be issues if your putty client software is old because they
have improved security and the older client will not connect to newer
server software but you should be getting the appropriate error
messages.
