I'm quite surprised ape format is not supported as it's popular and ever growing in the hi-res community.
Flac is pretty widely accepted as the de-facto lossless compression tool. APE is rather exotic compared to it, without any real advantage. According to this comparison table on Hydrogenaudio you could even say it has quite a few disadvantages, like performance (both in compression ratio and CPU cycles)
