I tried that but it only listed null and ALSA as output devices. The log said it couldnt find sndrpihifiberry. However, counter-intuitively, by selecting ESS9023 it picks up sndrpihifiberry and all works perfectly. Airplay ditto. Will try out Bluetooth later.
