OK shame on me :-(
the squeezelite binary provided by Jeff did not Play any MP3s on my system (That was the reason why the file was left out) Finally I could compile it by myself on my debian. This version also plays MP3s however - back to start: It crashes at 3:40 :-( Sorry for confusion.
