I am using a Flirc USB IR receiver gen 1.
It works fine except for the next and previous track buttons (<< and >>). These are being interpreted as volume up and volume down. I am using a Touch remote control. Can I fix this in a conf file somewhere, or do I need to buy a gen 2? Would using a gen 2 fix this? Are there any other reasons why a gen 2 would be better? Also, the configuration software now dowloadable from the Flirc site won't work with gen 1, and I can't find the software for gen 1 (although I'm not sure that having that would actually help). TIA.
