Curious - What format are you using?

I ran into an issue like this also, but have not fully investigated it
yet.
There are other reports also if you search the forums, but most do seem
to relate to file permissions OR special characters / different
character set used within the file name.
My issue seemed to arise after I used dbPowerAmp converter to go from
WAV files to FLAC files - and it's not file permissions or special
characters because that I've already checked.
Also in my case, it's not even a whole album - sometimes it's 1-2, or 5
tracks that will be missing

Sure would be nice to have some sort of audit mechanism in place -
Perhaps a perl script you run as an admin that generates a CSV, and then
run it using the LMS account, and finally one that uses SQL against the
LMS DB and spits out a 3rd.
Compare all 3 files to identify if something has gone wrong
If it's between 1 & 2, you know it's permissions.
If it's between 2 & 3, you know it's a scanner issue.
Scanner issues SHOULD show up in the scanner log, and if not then
perhaps the code needs to be tweaked for other possibilities

If somebody is willing to code, I'm willing to test.
I still have all my WAV files to compare against!
