It arrived!

Couple of points, I'm not sure if you're not mistaken, but the endplate
with the cutout for the SD card is acrylic and is at least twice the
thickness of the other plate which is steel.
The manufacturers should really think about pre-tapping the holes for
the endplate screws, it's extremely difficult to cut a thread with the
supplied machine screws. I used the four screws that would eventually be
used for the back plate (and thus out of sight) to pre-tap all the
holes, using a T10 bit in a cordless drill on low speed. Even this
wasn't easy!

Other than that everything fits and looks good - not a wire in sight. I
stuck four small rubber self-adhesive feet on the base. It does it's
job, and as a bonus it sounds fantastic. ;)
