Hmmm...
I reflashed the SD card, re-partitioned the card with an ext4 partition and formatted. I want to copy some music to the new partition. I followed the directions at this link... https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-mount-usb-drive/ ...and I think I have the drive mounted (SD card in a card reader, partition is sda3) but can't seem to get by the permissions issue of writing.
