The only thing I can suggest is to clear the playlist and reboot. Also, if you're running wireless, try wired just long enough to potentially rule out networking issues. Though I assume network trouble serious enough to cause gaps would also prevent individual tracks from playing through cleanly. Still, it's worth a try. Are you by any chance attempting to use crossfading across different sample rates?
