UK Posts 2,704 Hi Tom, I just set the volume to 100% and send it into my pre-amp. regards ronnie Thank you Ronnie, that does work with my headphone amp as well ;-) just the better part of my cans do not need the extra device to be driven properly, the KTBD output is quite excellent for them (as far as the volume can be controlled - playing FLAC - the Focal Elegia is usally driven by volume 55/100). I think for DSD the output needs to be set to 100 in the HW volume control settings (for Windows) to play correctly. Guess its the same for Linux based applications.
