Thanks M-H

You are correct - the new text strings should not have any reference to
landscape or portrait. My EN 'exemplars' (without the preceding #) are
the strings that need to be translated - I only left the old strings in
there for information, but since they are preceded by the # symbol they
are ignored.

If you go to the first post in this thread, there is a link to the
current 'best' instructions for installing the skin. Currently the pCP
repo contains the version that works with the 'normal' brightness, but
not the latest 'brightness when off' edits. I don't want to make that
available separately, partly because it will confuse the issue, and
partly because it makes changes to the main Jivelite code, JiveMain.lua.
That's not a step to take lightly! Mistakes in that code will prevent
Jivelite from loading at all. So it's with Ralphy for his approval, and
will be included in the pCP repo when all concerned are happy with it.

If you want to check your translations, copy the 'piCorePlayer' and
'QVGA240squareSkin' folders from /opt/jivelite/share/jive/applets to
/home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets, then edit the 'strings.txt' files
in the latter path. Select the 'Quit' option from the main Jivelite
menu to restart Jivelite with your changes.
