First I'd like to say I do not have a detailed knowledge about
RaspberryPi, PicorePlayer, LMS but somehow a few years ago I managed to
change LMS from my Nas (QNAP TS269pro) to a Raspberry Pi 3. The reason
for the change was that the plugin Spotty didn't work with my NAS, and
now it works (nearly) perfect. Because I didn't know how to install
PiCorePlayer and how to mount my NAS I googled an installation video.
Everything works fine. But I have a few questions.

1. Recently I discovered that whenever I add a song to an existing
playlist or when I create a new playlist, the changes remain but then
they disappear when I do a scan of my Medialibrary. In the settings of
PiCorePlayer/LMS I see that my sharetype is CIFS. Will switching this to
NFS solve the problem or isn't this very simple?

2. My PiCorePlayer is v.3.21. I noticed that 6.0 is available. Is there
an easy way to update? Should I copy my settings from the different
screens? Or is it not very necessary to update? As I said I'm not very
good at it and to get this thing going the first time took quite some
time. I think I installed a SD-memory card but do not know now how I dit
it.

3. My LMS version is 7.9.1 but I can see that there is a newer version.
I always update via the PicorePlayer button but version 7.9.3 is not
installed. Is there a reason for it? am I doing something wrong? I
wonder whether it is preferable / possible to update to LMS 8.0.
