Ask the people at Audiophonics about a pCP install.
I have a previous incarnation of this set up (just never bothered to install everything in the case :rolleyes:). It was a similar situation, but pCp was (partially) supported. MoOde runs on Raspbian Lite, I would suggest getting a spare sd card, installing raspbian desktop (basic version) add squeeezelite, check if you can play via the dac, then configure the power switch and then the screen.
