Recently I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 (with pCP 6.1.0, LMS 8.0) and a WD Passport Wireless hard disk drive as a backup server. The WD device has a battery on board which seems to help it work via USB power, but unfortunately it appears to have given up the ghost.
I have tried using an old WD drive that is externally powered and connected by USB, but it doesn't show up as a USB drive on the pCP web interface. Either it won't, or I'm doing something wrong! I'm after recommendations for a 2Tb hard disk drive that will work with a model 3 Raspberry Pi - either one that has a separate power supply or one that is USB powered....
