I'm running PCP 6.1.0 on a PiZeroW, using the built-in WiFi and a
Pimoroni TI5102 DAC hat connected to a pair of powered speakers. It
works wonderfully, thanks so much for this project!
However, I'm having trouble using it as a Bluetooth speaker, i.e. with
devices in "Player" mode. I've successfully paired with the Pi via the
built-in Bluetooth and can stream audio to the speakers, but I have no
volume control: changing the volume on the source device has no effect.
This seems to happen with every device I've used: Galaxy S8 Active
phone, Windows laptop, even an older iPad (although to be fair, I admit
I haven't tried anything but the S8 with 6.1.0.) What am I missing?
