My ~113,000 track library, mostly FLAC, ran just fine on a rPi3B+
running LMS with piCorePlayer. Very responsive, etc.  I've since moved
to rPi4 with 4GB, running LMS with about ~114,000 track library. But not
because it is really needed.  These rPi units are so cheap, that I saw
no reason not to get the 4GB memory. Certainly not necessary.
