Just bumping my own post, hoping an expert will see it ;-) It seems the sudden jump from one track to the next happens more often, if the track playing is rather lengthy and at higher sampling- and/or bit rate. E.g. a plus 7 min. track at 96/24 will almost for certain stop before it should. Could the issue be buffer related i any way? In my Squeezelite settings the ALSA buffer size is set to 65536 bytes.
