Mhh, another weird thing...

LMS is running, monitoring in 'top', it uses something like 2.5% of
memory and almost no cpu.
Go to the setup for LMS > basic settings and fill in 'media folder' and
'playlist folder', with the share mounted above (I can browse to that
from this setup page and see my music; it's really mounted)
As soon as I hit 'apply' LMS cpu usage goes to 25% (which I assume means
a single core to 100%). The LMS web interface becomes unresponsive.
Memory usage keeps increasing, when it reaches 100%, a message 'out of
memory!' starts rolling over the screen and and the LMS proces is
killed.

Tried this a couple of times, with reboots in between, same result.
Then removed the mount and pointed the 'media folder' and 'playlist
folder' to what's now an empty directory. Same thing, cpu and memory
usage keep increasing, eventually LMS crashes (takes maybe two
minutes).

Okay....
burned a fresh piCorePlayer v6.1.0 image file to a new sd card.
Increased the filessystem to 2000MB, installed LMS, started LMS, created
a dummy dir for mounting (sudo mkdir /mnt/music), went to the setup for
LMS > basic settings and filled in 'media folder' with the dummy (empty)
folder. No other settings changed. Same thing happens, cpu and memory
usage increase and the LMS proces gets killed.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

Using:
