Nothing in server or scanner log. Still working on this.... Build another LMS on a Rock64 (arm based sbc) with ubuntu server, to check. Oddly enough this had almost the same behaviour: while starting a scan on either an empty music folder or a mapped network drive with thousands of songs, cpu usage went to 100% and memory usage kept growing to 100%, only the process didn't get killed. It just stayed at 100% for some time, came back to normal and after that it worked fine. Build another LMS on a freshly build, 'normal' x86_64 Linux ubuntu server and repeated the above. That worked perfecty normal, cpu usage never went above a few percent as did memory usage during scanning. All used exactly the same LMS version, of course. I've used LMS on FreeBSD ever since my first Squeezebox (some 15 years ago), never had these problems with it. But it's a bit hard to keep current, so wanted to see what my options are. I'll go back to pCP to try to figure out what's happening. May take some time, though. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NeverSimple's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36242 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112456 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
