Many thanks for your suggestions. I tried first on the list and it works. Did you list them in that particular order for a reason other than compatibility. ie. will there be sound quality differences, or is it a case of if it works then it isat the best sound quality. i will try the other two regardless, but thanks for helping this newbie. As for roon and squeezelite, i have read that it can be done on my synology nas drive. And there is https://community.roonlabs.com/t/roon-bridge-on-picoreplayer/88820 which mentions someones attempt. Although i havent read up the rest of that thread to see if it can be done on picoreplayer. probably not regardless. lucky im not a roon user for now as i would miss out on the RAM audio quality optimised picoreplayer. Thank you for your help again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pkserver's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47474 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111787 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
