OK - there have been a few fixes to 8.1 since 23 dec but I don't see any ALAC ones. What sort of ALAC files are you trying to play ? sample rate 44.1kHZ, 48Khz, 96Khz, 192Khz ... sample size 16 bit , 24bit, 32 bit etc. Enable logging player.source to INFO (See WebUI Settings/Advanced/Logging) Note time of test and then try to play an ALAC track. >From server.log (See WebUI Setting/Information) copy entries from start time to when logging more or less stops into a text file and attach to a post. Zip text file if necessary Depending the log - it should be to tell if problem is in LMS or in squeezelite player.
