Yes. Running LMS in Docker shouldn't change how it communicates with the outside world.
I currently don't, and I thought I saw (but now can't find) a comment from -mherger- about creating or logging into an account for Docker?
You can enable logging for network.squeezenetwork to get some information about what's going on.
