Could I make a request to have 'ngrok' added to the pCP repositories?
ngrok is used to create a tunnel so that the 'MediaServer' Alexa skill can be used to voice control LMS. The ngrok executable is a single file that can be obtained from ngrok.com/download - there's an ARM version and an ARM64 version. 'I've been using the ARM64 version' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111016-Announce-MediaServer-*certified*-Alexa-skill-for-LMS&p=1006475&viewfull=1#post1006475) successfully with pCP7 64-bit. Even though it's only a single file, it's useful to have it as an installable extension because the executable is approx 25MB, meaning that if the user places it anywhere in the 'tc' home directory (e.g. /home/tc/.local/bin) then the backup is quite large and slow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113512 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
