just recently I dusted off my old Raspberry Pis 1 B (... no +) and gave LMS another try. Recent changes around Google Music forced my hand. Anyway, I used CEC on one of those RPi to detect the status of the connected devices and control. Worked well enough, but when I tried squeezebox in combination with jivelite I bricked the SD card. So, I started again using piCorePlayer instead. So much more comfortable. Awesome work by the team. Just now, I am stuck getting CEC to work. Based on your posts I am not quite sure, if you were able to get CEC running on an RPi 1B, or only for RPi 2B and later? Sorry to bother, but I was excited to read about your success and wanted to ask about the status. That would be the last piece to my puzzle.
