Although not directly relevant to pCP ... the Raspberry Pi OS people
have agreed to include the change to the default config in their next
kernel (50.10) for all devices which is due in next few days/weeks.

Hopefully paul- has seen this and will put it into next pCP.

I spent a bit of time looking at the keyboard mapping and it might not
be straight-forward.

Looks to me that the place for it is SDL and Ralphy's JiveLite already
has some SDL patches for some keystrokes - including media center ones
... which is what the HDMI CEC ones are something like.
I'll wait for guidance on that though because just cursor keys is good
enough for most of the non-grid interface for basic stuff.
