Firstly, really impressed with this software that performs exceptionally
well on a Pi after upgrading from a now obsolete Netgear NAS
server that used to run LMS. So thanks to the development team.
So I tried a number of other pi combinations and built a combined
picorelite server and client. I purchased a Hifiberry DAC2 HD board and
there is a noticeable pop when there are sample rate changes when
listening to playlists from Qobuz. Is it possible for the software to be
updated to provide a short momentary mute when the sample rate changes?
Or is it something that needs to be done in the DAC hardware design
please?
I have also built a similar system but used the hifiberry digital output
board to feed my Quad DAC. Quad provide a momentary mute as the Sample
rate is changed as an example. I have not contacted Hi-Fi Berry yet, as
I believe the issue may be solved in software and just wonder if that is
the case, could be considered on future updates please?
