The problem you describe about "low volume levels" doesn't sound normal. I haven't seen it, but your hardware may be different. :confused: Most DAC HATs have a 0dB or a 4dB boost setting. Some of the drivers have a 24dB boost. On pCP8.0.0, Paul has added a [ALSA Mixer] button on the [Squeezelite Settings] page.
