Android Developer Settings, at least on my phone, will let you force
these codecs to be used. Yeah, mine is on AAC now, likely
auto-detected, but I can set to AptX, AptXHD, LDAC, LHDC, AptX Adaptive,
and AptX TWS+.

Would love to be a guinea pig.

Also, any way for LMS to see the volume changes? I tap into the
internal command line to be notified of volume changes and then
dynamically compute a new EQ curve so that it sounds more-or-less the
same at all volumes (more bass and treble at low volumes, less at
higher, much less at extreme volume, etc) and now I have to click volume
buttons on the box (which don't work - would like to have that working
as well) to fix the EQ if I change volume with the phone. I was hoping
the "Streamer" option would have done what I wanted.
